Missouri Girls Town is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide support, structure, encouragement, and positive guidance to youth who have experienced trauma.
Our Direct Care Workers are an important part of creating a safe, supportive, home-like environment where youth can learn, grow, build confidence, and develop skills for their future.

Minimum requirements include:
Successful completion and continued certification in Handle with Care is a condition of employment for this position and must align with Missouri Girls Town’s Behavior Support Management Policy.
What the Work Looks Like
This isn’t a traditional job. You’ll be actively involved in the everyday lives of the youth we serve—helping with meals, homework, activities, household responsibilities, appointments, and the challenges and successes that come with daily life.
Direct Care Workers may work indoors and outdoors throughout the year and must be available to work assigned schedules that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, or hours outside normal business hours.
Benefits
Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days of full-time employment or open enrolment, in accordance with plan requirements and organizational policies.
Open Shifts:
2 p.m. to 10 p.m. with the following options for days off. Sunday/Monday or Friday/Saturday or Tuesday/Wednesday
4 p.m. to 12 a.m. with the following days off Sunday/Monday
