Direct Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Aides. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in Ann Arbor, MI, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with light housekeeping duties and ensure a safe living environment.


• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.


• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving or direct care role is an asset, but NOT required.


• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient attitude.


• Must pass background checks.
