Direct Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Aide to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Provide companionship and support to clients, fostering a positive and comfortable environment.


• Administer medication and monitor health status as instructed by healthcare professionals.


• Help with household tasks including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.


• Document and report any changes in clients' conditions or needs to supervisors.


• Ensure clients’ safety and well-being at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in direct care or similar role is an advantage.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.


• Reliable and compassionate with a strong sense of responsibility.


• Must be able to pass background checks as required.
