Direct Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Aides in Northville, MI. As a Direct Care Aide, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their daily activities, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transfer needs.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.


• Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure high quality care and client safety.

Requirements

• Prior experience in direct care or related field is an advantage.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist with mobility.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient attitude.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.


• Willingness to undergo background checks.
