Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers in Marysville, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Help clients with mobility and exercise routines as prescribed


• Perform light housekeeping and errands to support a safe and comfortable living environment


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals


• Maintain accurate records of care and client progress

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care giving or healthcare role preferred but not required


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care


• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude


• Ability to pass a background check


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
