Direct Support Professional

Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Develop and implement individualized support plans to help clients achieve their goals.
• Encourage and facilitate participation in social and community activities.
• Document daily activities and progress, maintaining accurate records for each individual.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to optimize care and support strategies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community outings.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred or must be obtained shortly after hiring.
