The Director of the Burn Program provides clinical and operational leadership for all aspects of the program, including registry management, quality improvement (QAPI), administrative operations, and overall performance. This role plans, directs, and coordinates activities while serving as the primary liaison for burn-related services, initiatives, and strategic priorities. The Director collaborates with Trauma Program leadership, Burn ICU/Nursing Unit leadership, and the Burn Program Medical Director to ensure alignment in clinical operations, patient care delivery, regulatory compliance, and organizational goals. The role demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and change management competencies to support a high-performing interdisciplinary care environment. This position is accountable for maintaining compliance with American Burn Association (ABA) standards, including oversight of readiness, data integrity, performance metrics, and continuous improvement. The Director leads ABA verification preparation and ensures sustained regulatory compliance. The Director partners with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient experience, implement evidence-based practice, provide education, and support outreach and regional partnerships.


Education
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
Master's Degree Nursing or Healthcare related field Required
Other Graduate of accredited school of nursing Required or
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience
3 years experience as an RN in a clinical specialty area Required
2 years experience in a clinical leadership role Required

Licenses
PA Registered Nurse License Required or
Multi State Compact RN License Required
Basic Life Support Required
