Overview\n\nWe are seeking a strategic and analytically rigorous Director, New Product Commercialization, Next Wave, to lead the evaluation of commercial potential for our early-stage pipeline assets. This role sits at the intersection of R\u0026D and commercial strategy and will play a pivotal role in shaping portfolio priorities, guiding clinical development strategies, and maximizing the long-term value of our drug candidates.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDrug Candidate Asset Evaluation\n\n * * Conduct drug candidate asset and indication evaluations -- lead development of preliminary TPPs and differentiation hypothesis with cross functional team\n * Evaluate market opportunity, unmet need, patient segmentation, and treatment paradigms\n * Translate clinical data into clear commercial implications and strategic recommendations\n * Identify key value drivers, risks, and \u201cmake-or-break\u201d assumptions for each asset\n\n\n\nMarket \u0026 Competitive Intelligence\n\n * * Conduct deep competitive landscape assessments, including pipeline tracking and benchmarking\n * Monitor evolving standard of care, pricing dynamics, and access considerations across key markets\n * Synthesize primary and secondary market research into actionable insights\n\n\n\nEvidence \u0026 Development Strategy Input\n\n * * Provide commercial input into clinical trial design (endpoints, comparators, patient populations)\n * Identify evidence gaps required to support future pricing, reimbursement, and differentiation\n * Ensure alignment between clinical development plans and future market access needs\n\n\n\nLead without formal authority \n\n * * Manage external partners that support asset evaluation; serve as conduit between internal program teams and analytic partners\n * Comfortable building from scratch (frameworks, models, narratives)\n * Act as a key commercial voice within cross-functional asset teams\n * Influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, PhD, PharmD, or MD)\n * 10+ years of experience in biotech/pharma, with a strong focus on commercial strategy, new product planning, or consulting\n * Demonstrated experience supporting drug development decisions (preclinical through Phase 3)\n * Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect clinical data to commercial outcomes\n * Deep understanding of drug development, market access, and healthcare ecosystems\n * Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills (forecasting, valuation)\n * Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders\n * Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments\n * Highly collaborative with strong stakeholder management skills\n * Comfortable with ambiguity and able to operate in early-stage environments\n * Action-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability\n * Curious, insightful, and driven by impact\n\n\n\n#LI-ST1\n\nU.S. Pay Range\n\n$208,300.00 - $281,800.00\n\nThe pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
