Director of Facilities & Asset Management

Position Overview

The Director of Facilities & Asset Management owns the physical, operational, and long-term capital health of CHNW’s entire property portfolio. This is a director-level role that is both strategic and hands-on: setting multi-year capital and asset-management strategy, underwriting building condition on acquisitions and refinancing, and managing a portfolio-wide capital budget — while remaining close enough to the work to walk a mechanical room, scope a vendor bid, and solve a complex building problem alongside the team. The Director leads the facilities function, owns vendor and contractor relationships, drives capital projects from scope through close-out, and serves as CHNW’s physical-asset expert on acquisitions and new development. Leveraging strong leadership, financial acumen, and sound judgment, the Director resolves complex issues and drives continuous improvement in alignment with CHNW’s mission and values.

Required Qualifications

• Multi-Family Property Management background or experience in housing


• 10+ years maintenance, capital projects and construction management experience


• 5+ years senior leadership experience


• Strong OSHA Fire and Safety knowledge


• Proven track record in property due diligence and transactional risk mitigation in real estate asset investment.


• Experience forecasting and budgeting capital expenses and calculating return on capital investment.


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
