What’s attractive about the Director of Global Tax position?
Opportunity to lead and direct Quanex's global tax function across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Strategic leadership role responsible for global tax planning, transfer pricing, compliance, audit defense, and financial reporting.
High visibility position partnering with executive leadership, Audit Committee, external auditors, legal counsel, and tax advisors.
Ability to influence global business strategy, acquisitions, restructurings, and tax-efficient cash management initiatives.
Lead implementation of global tax initiatives including OECD BEPS and Pillar Two compliance requirements
What Success Looks Like:
Lead and direct the Company's global tax function to minimize the Company's worldwide tax burden and ensure full compliance across all jurisdictions in which the Company operates.
Develop and execute global tax planning strategies that support organizational objectives while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Oversee transfer pricing policies, tax audits, tax reporting, and global tax compliance activities.
Monitor international tax law developments and assess impacts on the Company's tax structure and effective tax rate.
Build and develop a high-performing global tax function while supporting business growth and operational excellence
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business Administration, or related field required.
CPA required; MST or other advanced tax-related credential preferred.
Minimum 12 years of progressive corporate tax experience, including significant multinational tax leadership experience.
Extensive experience in international tax planning, transfer pricing, tax reporting, compliance, and audit management.
Prior leadership experience managing tax professionals and globally dispersed teams.
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax regulations, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and foreign tax credits.
Experience with ASC 740 tax provisions, SOX compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and multinational tax operations.
Manufacturing, industrial, or multi-entity multinational corporate tax experience strongly preferred.
The salary range for this position is of $166K - $190K with the potential to earn an annual bonus.
