We’re looking for a proven leader to take ownership of the people, culture, operations, and performance of a charter school in Toledo.

This is a leadership role first. You do not need an education degree or a traditional education background.

We are particularly interested in leaders who have developed their skills in demanding, mission-driven environments where accountability, team development, operational execution, and ownership of results were part of the job.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop a high-performing team


• Establish standards, expectations, and accountability


• Coach employees and develop future leaders


• Build a strong, mission-focused culture


• Oversee day-to-day operations and priorities


• Make decisions, solve problems, and drive results


• Manage resources and competing priorities


• Partner with HR, Finance, IT, Facilities, and organizational leadership


• Build relationships with students, families, staff, and the community


• Take ownership of the school’s overall performance

What We’re Looking For

The only hard requirement is a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Beyond that, we’re looking for demonstrated experience leading people, developing teams, establishing standards, making decisions, and taking ownership of results.

Your experience may come from the military, business operations, nonprofit leadership, education, workforce development, or another demanding environment.

Leadership Development

The organization offers a formal two-year leader development program to help strong leaders from outside traditional education learn the school-specific side of the role.

You bring the leadership. We’ll help develop the industry knowledge.
