Director of Nursing

Position Overview: 

As the Director of Nursing (DON), you will be a crucial member of our leadership team that leads all clinical programs and ensures the highest level of clinical care is being provided to all residents. 

Key Responsibilities:

• As Director of Nursing (DON), you will supervise all nursing staff.

• You will plan, develop, organize, and implement the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.

• You will oversee your department budgets.

• You will communicate with doctors, residents, and family members about resident health.

• You will implement new procedures and train nurses on policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of professional experience as a DON or an ADON in long term care.

• Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois in good standing.

• Familiarity with medical software and equipment

• Ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
