The primary responsibility of this position is to lead, direct, and support the daily operations of Nissha Medical Technologies Colorado Springs location, ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time production. The position is responsible for managing effectiveness and profitability. This position is challenged with maintaining the vision and goals for the organization. The successful candidate will work with a high degree of autonomy, provide a high level of customer service, and teach and mentor less experienced team members with a focus on growing their ability and knowledge.
What You Will Do
- Follow all employee guidelines and Quality Systems Regulations (QSR’s) as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure that customer requirements and FDA (or equivalent) regulations are met.
- Demonstrate knowledge and act in accordance with NMT’s Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT’s Quality Manual.
- Provide motivational and organizational guidance and support to assigned areas by leading meetings, providing updates, scheduling work-related activities, and organizing daily operations to make the defined staff knowledgeable in their field and efficient in their job tasks.
- Oversee manufacturing activities of multiple product lines operating on multiple shifts.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure manufacturing systems are in place to meet business objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Production and other departments as needed to ensure effective new product transitions into production.
- Work with Supply Chain management to develop effective production planning and inventory systems; ensure accurate tracking and accounting of materials.
- Work with Continuous Improvement and Engineering functions to develop effective manufacturing processes capable of meeting quality, cost and supply chain objectives.
- Anticipate and resolves highest level issues and conflicts that could impact operations success.
- Provide direct day-to-day management to our team of Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians.
- Provide indirect management to Production/Manufacturing, Maintenance and Facilities, and Logistics (Shipping, Receiving, Packaging and Warehouse) areas.
- Hire and retain a diverse, highly qualified staff and provide ongoing performance feedback.
- Set goals which align to department plans and manage the execution of goals through coaching and mentoring.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
- Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Abides by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies

What You Bring
Core Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 8+ years of progressively responsible work experience in a high-volume, multi product manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Proven managerial experience.
- Significant experience leading and implementing lean manufacturing/Six Sigma initiatives.
- Solid knowledge of GMP and ISO regulations.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $125,000 – $155,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
