The Bleeding and Clotting Disorders Institute, the only Federally recognized Hemophilia Treatment Center of Excellence south of Chicago, is hiring a full-time Director of Organizational & Pharmacy Compliance. Under the direct supervision of the COO, the Director of Organizational & Pharmacy Compliance is responsible for ensuring the organization is in compliance with all federal and state regulations, aggregating/analyzing internal and external data for reporting/auditing, and coordination and oversight of all organizational accreditation initiatives. He or she serves as the main point of contact for accrediting bodies, works with the leadership team to ensure accreditation requirements are met, and reviews data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results. The Director of Organizational & Pharmacy Compliance is responsible for ensuring all operations meet legal and regulatory requirements and serves as a member of the Quality Management Committee.
In addition, he or she shall serve in a Pharmacist role for the BCDI pharmacy. This role consists of interpreting physician prescriptions and medication orders, acting as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel, consulting with patients as needed regarding new medication(s) and or dosage changes, and filling and processing of wholesale orders.

Salary range: $175,000-$195,000 dependent upon experience
We Offer a Competitive Compensation Package:
1. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), and active pharmacist license in the state of Illinois.
2. 3+ years pharmacy experience (ideally in a regulatory or compliance role).
3. Experience with state and federal pharmacy laws.
4. Prior involvement in audits, inspections, or accreditation processes preferred.
5. Experience developing and reviewing policies, SOPs and compliance documentation preferred.
6. Six Sigma green belt certification or equivalent preferred.
7. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Accommodations will be made as necessary should employee have imposed lifting restrictions.
