Summary

Our partner's client is seeking a Director of Pricing to join their team! This role is responsible for overseeing domestic truckload pricing operations, including customer bids, contracts, system billing, and data management. The Director of Pricing will be critical in developing and implementing strategic pricing initiatives to drive business success. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership, sales, and operations teams to shape pricing strategies and improve win rates. Additionally, this role reports to the Vice President of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the customer bid process, overseeing contracts, awards, and rating structures
• Work with sales and support operations to complete customer RFIs and RFPs
• Develop pricing strategies for each customer opportunity in collaboration with senior leadership
• Analyze market data and other indicators to assist in pricing initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, including executive leadership, operations, and sales
• Contribute to strategic areas such as process improvement and industry analysis
• Report key statistics related to volume, yield, and award management
• Collaborate with the technology team to enhance pricing tools and systems
• Evaluate data and resources to develop effective customer solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent truckload pricing experience, specifically in 3PL domestic over-the-road operations
• Proficiency in the truckload industry and pricing strategies
• Strong experience with Microsoft applications such as Excel and Access
• Experience with McLeod software is required

Education/Certification Requirements

• None

Preferred Requirements

• Familiarity with Four Kites and Project 44 software is preferred
• Experience with data analytics tools

Compensation/Benefits Notice

• This role offers an estimated annual base salary range of $90,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and qualifications.
