Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Recruiting to fully own the recruiting function in a growing multi-location organization as the first leader in recruiting. This role is not just about finding and hiring team members. It is about building the people engine of the organization. You will bring your expertise, vision, and leadership to:
● Find and source candidates
● Manage vendor and agency relationships
● Establish our practices as trusted pillars within their communities
● Build a high-performing recruiting team
● Create the systems and infrastructure needed to scale
You will serve as the recruiting leader and subject matter expert, partnering closely with the executive team to shape strategy and drive results.
Key Responsibilities Recruiting Leadership & Ownership
Recruiting Leadership & Ownership
● Work directly with CEOs and Director of Ops to create strategies to source and hire all roles, with executive support to recruit outstanding dentists
● Lead recruiting efforts for dentists, dental hygienists, office managers, and office staff
● Build systems to recruit candidates with dental experience including SOPs
● Own recruiting KPIs including time to fill and quality of candidate
Recruiting Infrastructure & Team Development
● Build, lead, and develop a high-performing recruiting team
● Establish clear roles, accountability, and performance expectations
● Implement repeatable systems, processes, and playbooks across all locations
● Create a data-driven culture with dashboards, reporting, and performance tracking
Success in the First 6–12 Months
● Build and implement a clear, scalable recruiting strategy across all locations
● Lead recruiting efforts across practices to fill high impact roles to meet 75% chair utilization
● Establish clear roles and responsibilities for recruiting team and supporting team members
● Build strong relationships and trust with executive leadership and field teams

Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience) ● 3-5 years of progressive recruiting leadership experience (multi-location or healthcare experience preferred, additional HR experience preferred)
● Proven ability to execute recruiting strategies, previous experience building recruiting systems preferred
● Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
● Self-starter with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
