Director of Revenue

 The Director of Revenue is responsible for maximizing resort revenue through strategic revenue management, distribution strategy, and effective oversight of the Guest Experience/Reservation Sales department. This position leads the day-to-day revenue and yield operations while ensuring that all Agilysys and NAVIS/IDEAS system processes are effectively utilized to drive occupancy, revenue, conversion, and guest satisfaction.

Essential job functions include: 

• Oversee the Resort’s revenue management and distribution strategy and manage day-to-day yield operations.
• Conduct daily pickup analysis and make strategy adjustments based on current performance and market conditions.
• Analyze occupancy, revenue, booking pace, and other key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities.
• Conduct competitive benchmark studies and monitor relevant market trends.
• Create and maintain a 12-month rolling demand calendar. 
• Partner with Resort leadership to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
• Create, implement, and adjust pricing strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Analyze STAR reports and other industry and internal performance reports.
• Prepare and communicate a weekly dynamic forecast, including expected results, variances, and comparisons to budget.
• Run daily pace reports and communicate performance, trends, and recommended strategies to the management team.
• Communicate revenue trends and recommendations to the General Manager, Director of Hotel Operations, and Director of Sales & Marketing, particularly regarding pricing, policies, packages, and marketing opportunities.
• Participate as a key member of the Resort’s core Revenue Management team.

•  A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 
• 3 to 10 years of progressive hotel or resort revenue management experience, including multi-property or luxury/resort environment. 
• High proficiency in Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Property Management Systems (PMS), Central Reservation Systems (CRS).
