The Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth within the insurance restoration sector by leading a high-performing sales team, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery. Director of Sales Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, supervise, and develop a team of 3–4 sales representatives, ensuring
alignment with organizational goals and performance expectations.
Drive aggressive sales growth through proactive lead generation, prospecting, and strategic
market engagement within the insurance restoration industry.
Build and maintain a full sales funnel through proactive outreach, networking, relationship
building, and strategic market engagement.
Serve as a champion of customer service excellence, ensuring every interaction reflects our
commitment to serving humbly and caring compassionately.
Create, interpret, and present sales reports — even when data is limited — to guide
decision-making and forecast performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally and perform tasks outside traditional sales responsibilities
as needed to support business operations and success.
Utilize technology, CRM systems, reporting tools, and communication platforms at a
near-expert level to manage workflows and data.
Galvanize, motivate, and inspire a young team, modeling professionalism, resilience, and
high personal standards.
Demonstrate strong business acumen and understanding of operational, financial, and
strategic principles.
Operate independently with minimal supervision, consistently demonstrating initiative,ownership, and proactive problem-solving.
Director of Sales Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably within insurance restoration,
construction, or related industries.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret limited or evolving data.
Proven track record of successful lead generation and sales growth in a hunter-style role.
High level of business acumen and understanding of core business principles.
Ability to thrive in a small-business environment requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms, reporting tools, and digital communication
technologies.
Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues
proactively.
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
