Job Description - Director of Sales & Marketing

The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading
independent distributor of low -voltage electronics in St. Louis, MO, to hire an
experienced Director of Sales & Marketing.

This role is ideal for a commercial executive who
balances strategy with execution, builds scalable systems, and creates
accountability while empowering sales teams to excel.

Schedule: Full -Time | Exempt| Hybrid 

What You’ll Do

  • Build and lead commercial infrastructure
    across sales, marketing, pricing, and go -to -market strategy

  • Create systems, accountability, and
    operational clarity that support growth

  • Establish structure that empowers sales
    teams and improves execution

  • Drive CRM adoption, forecasting
    discipline, and pipeline visibility

  • Recruit top talent and foster a
    high -performance environment

  • Balance autonomy with accountability
    across the organization

  • Lead multiple initiatives while
    maintaining alignment and momentum

  • Bring order, consistency, and execution
    without creating bureaucracy

What We Are Looking For

Required Skills

  • Pragmatic and strategic mindset
    with a strong bias for execution

  • Ability to create accountability
    while empowering high -performing teams

  • Strong organizational agility with
    the ability to adapt and reprioritize as business needs evolve

  • Proven capability to lead change
    and build, improve, and scale organization

Candidate who is experienced
in:

  • Leading sales and marketing
    functions

  • Building or restructuring
    commercial teams and processes

  • Leading multi -location or
    distributed sales organizations

  • Operational and organizational
    leadership

  • CRM implementation and adoption
  • Driving pricing discipline,
    forecasting, and accountability

  • B2B leadership (preferred)
