What You'll Do
- Plan and coordinate nursing orientation and onboarding programs
- Provide job skills training and ongoing staff education
- Lead and facilitate in-service education programs
- Support nursing assistant training and certification programs
- Monitor training compliance and educational requirements
- Partner with leadership to promote quality care and staff development
What You'll Need
- Current RN license in good standing
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience
- Experience developing, implementing, or coordinating staff education programs
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software
- Ability to pass employment screenings
In addition, candidates must meet one of the following:
- One year of direct resident care experience in a long-term care setting plus one year of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing education programs; or
- Two years of licensed nursing experience, including at least one year providing direct resident care in a nursing facility, with the ability to complete required staff development education requirements
