Director of Treasury

This position will be based in South Portland, ME at our Corporate Office.

This is a hybrid role- 3 days in the office and 2 remote.

Salary Expectations- $127,117-$190,677 Based on experience

We're seeking an accomplished and strategic Director of Treasury & Finance Operations to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this highly visible role will lead our Treasury, Tax, and Accounts Payable functions while playing a critical role in acquisition integration and enterprise financial strategy.

What You'll Do

As Director of Treasury & Finance Operations, you will provide strategic oversight and operational leadership across key financial functions, including:

Treasury Leadership

• Partner with the CFO to manage banking relationships and the company's credit facilities.


• Ensure compliance with financial covenants and lending requirements.


• Lead daily cash management, liquidity planning, and forecasting activities.


• Oversee working capital financing and banking reporting requirements.


• Develop and manage the annual Treasury budget.

Tax Strategy & Compliance

• Direct all aspects of corporate tax planning, compliance, and audit activities.


• Oversee income, excise, sales, and use tax responsibilities.


• Partner with external advisors to ensure effective tax strategies and regulatory compliance.

Financial Operations & Controls

• Lead the centralized Accounts Payable function.


• Strengthen internal controls and ensure appropriate segregation of duties across payment processes.


• Establish, maintain, and enhance Treasury, Tax, and A/P policies and procedures.


• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting activities.

Business Growth & Acquisition Integration

• Support acquisition activities through closing.


• Lead the financial integration of newly acquired businesses.


• Partner across departments to ensure seamless transitions and realization of business objectives.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Develop and mentor finance professionals.


• Build strong relationships with business leaders, banking partners, auditors, and tax advisors.


• Lead cross-functional projects that improve financial performance and operational effectiveness.


• Deliver meaningful financial insights and covenant reporting to executive leadership.

What You Bring

Required Experience

• 8+ years of progressive experience in:




• Corporate Treasury


• Tax planning and compliance


• Acquisition integration


• Financial operations leadership

Education & Credentials

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Preferred

• Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline


• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
