Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. We are hiring a Director of Surgical Services in Missoula, Montana.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Leadership role responsible for directing Surgical Services department operations and resources
• Oversees departmental activities to achieve organizational and clinical objectives
• Responsible for patient care delivery, staffing, budgets, quality initiatives, audits, and compliance activities
• Provides leadership for hiring, orientation, performance management, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
• Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer

COMPENSATION
• Salary range: $120,000-$165,000 annually
• Relocation assistance available up to $10,000 with receipts (taxable)

SCHEDULE
• Full-time (1.0 FTE)
• 8-hour shifts
• Start time: 7:00 AM
• Occasional weekends and holidays may be required

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct Surgical Services department operations and resources
• Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards
• Evaluate patient care delivery, information technologies, and service levels
• Plan and monitor staffing activities
• Manage hiring, orientation, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and education initiatives
• Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets
• Coordinate and direct internal and external audits
• Ensure departmental compliance with organizational objectives and funding allocations

• Current Montana RN license or eligibility REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing REQUIRED
• Five years of Surgical Services RN experience REQUIRED
• Five years of leadership experience at the Manager or Director level REQUIRED
• BLS required upon hire
• PALS required within six months of hire
• ACLS required within six months of hire
• MSN, MBA, or Healthcare Administration degree strongly preferred
