The Director, Information Services leads the planning, delivery, and operational performance of Information Services teams supporting major facility implementations, departmental moves, technology deployments, and related infrastructure initiatives. This leader ensures that IS projects, services, and investments align with business and clinical needs while maintaining operational stability, effective resource deployment, and accountability for results.

The role provides leadership across complex, multi-site initiatives involving end-user technology, network and voice services, low-voltage infrastructure, wireless connectivity, and other technology components required to support new construction, facility expansions, relocations, and operational growth. The Director partners closely with clinical, operational, application, infrastructure, Design and Construction, and vendor stakeholders to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and deliver successful outcomes.

This role is home based at our Shadeland location, however the role requires a strong onsite presence to support active projects and operations. The Director will regularly work across the local metropolitan area and travel periodically to Fort Wayne, Lafayette, and other locations as needed. Onsite work is expected to average three to four days per week, depending on project demands.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Requires 7-10 years of relevant management experience in a business or clinical systems environment and familiarity with process/performance improvement methodologies, system implementations, and workflow analysis.
  • Requires prior management experience in a complex, matrix organization.
  • Requires a demonstrated fundamental understanding of project accounting and financial management.
  • Preferred experience supporting healthcare, hospital, clinical, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Preferred experience supporting new facility openings, hospital expansions, construction initiatives, departmental relocations, or large-scale infrastructure deployments.
  • Preferred experience of project management, program management, IT service management, or related professional certification.
  • Knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines preferred.
  • Preferred experience with contractor and vendor management.
