The Director of Integrated Health Engagement leads multi-disciplinary social needs and clinical (behavioral and physical health) teams to support the delivery of integrated whole-person care for Alliance members.  This role is responsible for implementing clinical and operational strategies that leverage evidence-based practices, optimize efficiencies, and drive growth to achieve Care Management and organizational goals for various populations. This role requires strong physical health, clinical, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills in addition to demonstration and knowledge of operational management principles. 


This is a full-time hybrid opportunity. There is no expectation of coming into the office routinely, however, the selected candidate must be available to report onsite to the Alliance Office for business meetings as needed.


Responsibilities & Duties


Operational Oversight



  • Oversee operational and administrative operations for clinical care management teams

  • Supervise and support interdisciplinary teams including registered nurses, behavioral health clinicians, occupational therapists, speech therapist, etc. 

  • Develop, implement and monitor operational strategies aligned with the Care Management overall business objectives

  • Monitor care management department KPIs, team productivity and financial metrics per department standards

  • Develop performance goals and long-term operational plans in collaboration with other care management leaders

  • Ensure compliance with NC DHHS and government contracts and regulations


Clinical Oversight



  • Support development and oversee the integrated care model within the care management department

  • Ensure evidence-based clinical standards of care are incorporated into clinical team workflows in the care management platform

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support coordinated physical, behavioral, and SDOH supports to deliver comprehensive care to members


Project Management



  • Support project management activities on assigned projects, including budgeting, development and implementation of workplans and management of project workflows

  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure that changes in business processes are accepted and effectively implemented

  • Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously


Communication and Collaboration



  • Maintains awareness of existing and new internal and external regulations and guidance pertaining to Care Management operations

  • Presents various findings related to the department’s performance to a wide variety of stakeholders


Minimum Requirements


Education & Experience


:


Master’s degree in nursing and five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare setting. Knowledge of Medicaid and managed care systems is required.


Registered Nurse license required.


Preferred:


Experience working with underserved and diverse populations preferred.

  • Leadership and managerial skills with ability to inspire and motivate individual contributors

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Highly self-directed, reliable and accountable

  • Results oriented with a focus on accountability and overcoming obstacles


 Salary Range 


$119,264 - $152,062/ Annual 


Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, external market data and consideration of internal equity
