Disa Pouring Operator - 1st shift

Description

This position requires the operator to maintain control of two 9 ton pressure pour furnaces including monitoring and controlling the temperature of the furnace; and, the condition of the refractory in the pouring trough. The operator also sets up each production job to pour in automatic mode using PourTech laser pour systems.

1st shift = $20.97

2nd shift = $22.22

3rd shift = $21.97

Requirements

• Obtains necessary samples of the final iron.
• Pours metal test bars.
• Ability to ensure all parts of RMP’s Quality System for this position are met.
• Ability to maintain a clean and uncluttered work area.
• Ability to will work around molten metal and must wear all required safety equipment.
• Ability to use computer controls and equipment that inoculates the molten metal as it enters the mold.
• Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures and requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more occasionally.
• Ability to train and operate a jackhammer.
