FloorTec Cleaning & Restoration is growing in the greater Sioux Falls market, and we're looking for a dependable Disaster Restoration Technician to join our team.
Our technicians help homeowners and businesses recover from water damage, fire and smoke damage, and mold. We also provide professional carpet cleaning and air duct cleaning, making this a hands-on position with a variety of work from day to day.
No restoration experience? That's okay. We're willing to train the right person. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing quality work.
What You'll Do
As a Disaster Restoration Technician, you will help restore properties after water, fire, smoke, and mold-related damage. Responsibilities may include:
- Perform water damage restoration, including water extraction, drying, and cleanup
- Assist with fire and smoke damage restoration and cleanup
- Perform mold remediation and cleanup
- Complete professional carpet cleaning
- Perform air duct cleaning
- Set up and monitor drying and restoration equipment
- Remove damaged materials and assist with general restoration cleanup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency restoration services
- Respond to emergency calls when scheduled, with double pay for emergency response

Previous experience in disaster restoration, water mitigation, mold remediation, fire restoration, carpet cleaning, construction, maintenance, or related hands-on work is a plus—but not required. We will train the right person.
