Dishwasher

As a Dishwasher / Cleaner / Prep team member at Plaza Provisions, you will help keep our operation running smoothly and our guests happy. You’ll maintain a clean and organized restaurant, including dining areas, bathrooms, and service stations, while also supporting the bar and kitchen with prep work and dishwashing. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works well independently, and thrives in a team environment.

Location: Plaza Provisions – Country Club Plaza, Kansas City, MO

Reports to: Director of Outlets

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly and efficiently. 
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces. 
• Assist with basic prep tasks, including juicing fresh ingredients for the bar. 
• Take out trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed. 
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed. 
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines. 
• Support the service and kitchen teams as needed to keep operations running smoothly. 

Qualifications:

• Previous dishwashing, cleaning, or prep experience preferred, but not required. 
• Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently. 
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Must be 16 years or older. 
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. 
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

Compensation:

• $18/hour
