Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team in Houston, TX. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the timely and efficient dispatch of vehicles, personnel, or equipment to meet operational needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming requests for service or deliveries.


• Schedule and dispatch vehicles, drivers, or personnel based on priority and availability.


• Maintain communication with drivers and field personnel to monitor progress and resolve issues.


• Update and maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and service logs.


• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.


• Respond promptly to emergencies or unexpected changes in schedules.


• Utilize dispatch software and communication tools effectively.


• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.


• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field preferred.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.


• Proficient with computers and dispatch software.


• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment in Houston, TX. The Dispatcher will work closely with drivers, field personnel, and other departments to ensure effective coordination and service delivery.
