Distribution Center Maintenance Technician

If you are looking for a less stressful role by working in a Distribution Center and Warehouse, this job is for you. We are looking for an experienced maintenance- trained person who has an aptitude for working on forktrucks and other power industrial equipment (PIT). The ideal candidate will be able to perform repairs on conveyor systems, facility equipment, and execute maintenance on equipment throughout the facility. You may have specialized skills in one or more areas, or a specific equipment that would translate to our maintenance needs. High School diploma or equivalent.  Post-secondary training or certification from a technical school or other higher education is a plus.

Basic knowledge of electronic equipment and testing devices.

Basic knowledge of environmental regulations.

Good hand-eye coordination

Ability to read and interpret written instructions and repair manuals

Ability to follow complex instructions and use precision instruments.

May be asked to occasionally work anytime during a 24 hour day for emergency or planned downtime.

Provide own tools if required.

Minimum of 12-18 months of maintenance technician experience. Prior experience in automotive repair is a plus. Related work experience will be accepted in lieu of education requirement.
