2nd Shift Distribution Supervisor

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for scheduling of kitting activities while monitoring & reporting departmental productivity.


• Directly supervises 5-100 employees in Kitting department.


• Responsible for warehouse cleanliness and product organization and security.


• Communicates with the Customer Service Representative concerning product builds.


• Supervises the flow of products to meet customer requirements.


• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.


• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.


• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.


• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.


• Performs activities of workers supervised.


• Must be able to work overtime as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university or 3-5 years’ experience in a high-speed production or kitting/packaging environment and/or combination of education & experience.


• Experience with JBA/ SAP work order management system is preferred but not required.


• Must demonstrate the ability to use MS office to include Word and Excel.


• Ability to develop associates to succeed in a High-Performance Organization through coaching, personal development and training.


• ​​Demonstrated customer focus, deadline sensitivity, organization skills, flexibility, relationship building skills, problem solving and demonstrated support for new ideas, suggestions, and changes.
