Doctor- Family Practice/Internal Medicine

The successful candidate for this position will enjoy working in a fast paced environment with a diverse group of adminstrative and medical professionals. In this role you will focus on:

• Administering  preventative and corrective care to healthy  ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Diagnosing and establishing patient treatment plans
• Communicating with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educating patients and parents about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintaining accurate patient medical records
• Providing advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
• Communicating immunization, blood draw and procedure orders to medical staff

• A current NYS Medical License 
• Experience working with a EHR systems 
• The ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and manage deadlines well 
• experience establishing and maintaining positive and effective work relationships 
• A history of participation in clinical and quality improvement projects 
• A commitment and experience working with underserved and diverse populations 
• A strong interest in public health 
• Experience in community center or urban sites preferred
