DoD Senior Scientist (Tank Management) / Environmental

EnDyna, a woman-owned small business based in McLean, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Scientist – Tank Management to support fuel system compliance and environmental regulatory programs to support a forthcoming Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Environmental Compliance, Planning, and Resiliency contract in the Washington, DC metro area. This program supports complex, multi-site federal environmental operations across compliance, sustainability, and resiliency initiatives..

Position Overview

This role supports compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing aboveground and underground storage tanks and fuel systems.

Position Requirements

Security

• Must be a U.S. Citizen


• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree + 10+ years experience
  OR


• Master’s degree + 8+ years experience

Required Experience

• Aboveground and underground storage tank compliance


• Fueling and fuel transfer operations


• Developing spill prevention and tank management plans


• Contingency planning


• Working with regulators and operational staff


• Preparing reports and regulatory documentation


• Conducting compliance audits and assessments

Preferred Experience

• Tank design reviews


• Oversight of tank installation and removal
