Essential Functions

• Welcomes customer into the shop


• Verify various forms of ID


• Work well under pressure. Always remain calm and professional


• Communications skills – reading, writing and verbal. Clearly describe situations for reports


• Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat


• Attention to detail


• Interpersonal skills - ability to deal with all levels of personnel and public in a professional and effective manner


• Sets an excellent example for customer service, following company policies and procedures


• Remain up to date on WA State and LCB regulations


• Maintain a clean and orderly station


• Assist with maintaining store cleanliness


• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following company standards


• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts and report to Sr. Shift Lead, ASM, SFM


• Assist with product distribution and displays when asked


• Maintain a professional and friendly appearance throughout shift


• Must comply with all WA State recreational cannabis regulations


• Establish good working relationship with other team members


• Foster positive communications and relationships with employees and vendors


• Keep up to date on industry trends and developments


• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Additional Requirements:

• Must be over 21 years of age, per LCB regulations


• Must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines


• Must be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and be flexible (able to go with the flow – where you are needed the most)


• Friendly and professional demeanor


• Strong collaborator when working with a team, but also a self-starter when working alone


• Customer service and communication skills


• Basic PC knowledge (computer/laptop/iPad/smartphone)


• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting


• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds


• Ability to stand for long periods of time


• Night and Weekend availability
