Drafter – Revit/AutoCAD
Location: Vineland, New Jersey

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Position Summary Northeast Precast is seeking two detail-oriented Drafters to join our Drafting Department. This is a full-time, in-person position supporting the preparation and revision of technical drawings for precast concrete projects. The ideal candidate has prior drafting experience and is comfortable working with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. This position requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to work closely with drafting, engineering, project management, and production teams. Primary Responsibilities
- Create and revise accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Prepare shop drawings, production drawings, layouts, details, and related drafting documents for precast concrete projects.
- Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, sketches, and project requirements.
- Incorporate redlines, markups, field information, and approved revisions into project drawings.
- Verify dimensions, notes, details, openings, connections, and other project information for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify drawing conflicts, missing information, and discrepancies and communicate them to the appropriate team member.
- Coordinate with drafting, engineering, project management, and production personnel to support project requirements.
- Maintain organized drawing files, project records, and revision histories.
- Complete assignments accurately and within established project deadlines.
- Follow Northeast Precast drafting standards and document-control procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous professional drafting experience is preferred.
- Experience using AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, structural drawings, technical specifications, sketches, and markups.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good mathematical, measurement, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different departments.
- Drafting, CAD, engineering technology, or related technical education is a plus but is not required.
Compensation The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00–$25.00 per hour. The starting rate will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education, technical skills, and qualifications. This is a non-exempt position. Overtime, when worked and approved, will be paid in accordance with applicable federal and New Jersey law. Benefits Eligible full-time employees are offered:
