Bellingham at West Chester is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery stores, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing other resident activities as required.

Schedule: full-time opportunity, alternating weekends required

Salary: $18/hour

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.


• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).


• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.


• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.


• Clean and wash vehicle.


• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.


• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy. 


• Heavily support the Activities Department when not driving for the community during the scheduled shift.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or GED required


• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required


• Clear driving record
