Location: West Orange, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time
Pay: $15.92 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver Helper to assist our delivery drivers with the safe and efficient delivery of products to customers. The ideal candidate is physically fit, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading products from the delivery truck.
• Help deliver products to customer locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Verify delivery orders and ensure the correct products are delivered.
• Secure merchandise during transport to prevent damage.
• Assist with carrying heavy materials into customer homes, businesses, or job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with the driver regarding delivery schedules and customer needs.
• Follow all company safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service at each delivery stop.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery or moving experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry 75–100 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be punctual and have reliable transportation to work.
