Location: Vernon, CA (On-site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Overview

AdeptHR is partnering with a leading specialty food distributor to hire a detail-oriented and dependable Drop Ship Sales Support professional. This role plays a key part in supporting sales operations, ensuring accurate order processing, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Order Management & Logistics

• Enter drop-ship purchase orders with accuracy (pricing, product, quantities, destinations)
• Generate shipping labels using FedEx, UPS, or similar systems
• Monitor order status and provide timely tracking updates to customers
• Assist with product availability, quotes, and specification requests

Customer Service & Sales Support

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Support product recommendations and sales initiatives
• Resolve customer issues in coordination with internal teams
• Document and escalate product complaints appropriately

Sales Coordination

• Support the sales team in achieving targets and objectives
• Provide feedback on customer needs, trends, and opportunities

Must Have

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• High attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have

• Experience in sales support, customer service, or logistics
• Background in food service, hospitality, grocery, or related industries
• Familiarity with shipping systems (FedEx, UPS) or internal platforms
