How you’ll contribute 

A Drug and Alcohol Counselor who excels in this role:

• Provides direct assessment and counseling services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients.

• Provides individual, marital, family and group psychotherapy as assigned.

• Maintains accurate and complete records, including adequate paperwork to facilitate proper
  billing. Knowledgeable of CPT Codes and their appropriate and effective application.

•  Maintains confidentiality of all patient, hospital, and employee related information.

• Delivers personalized, efficient care with respect for the individual’s spiritual and cultural
  differences.

• Participates in community consultation and education as requested.

• Participates in facility treatment team meetings communicating clinical impressions.

• Compiles comprehensive patient/family history and records the data.

• Works to ensure effective performance and productivity maintaining a flexible schedule to
  accommodate patients.

About our PACT Team (Program for Assertive Community Treatment): The PACT Team provides intensive, community-based support for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Multidisciplinary staff coordinate daily care, ensuring clients receive comprehensive services in their homes and community settings. The team culture fosters trust, accountability, and proactive problem-solving to maintain stability and independence.

What we’re looking for

 The Mental Health Counselor must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. The requirements listed below are below representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required:

• Bilingual and/or English Spanish speaking preferred and ability to work with culturally diverse population.
• High School Diploma or equivalent – required 
•   AA in Social Services or equivalent (90 quarter/60 semester college credits) or bachelor’s degree in behavioral health sciences.
• Must be enrolled in an approved school and gaining the experience required to receive a Substance Use Disorder Professional credential

Hourly range: $17.26- $22.44
