Position Overview

An established concierge medical practice in Sarasota, Florida is seeking an exceptional dual board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease to serve as the long-term successor to the founding physician. This unique role combines comprehensive primary care with sophisticated non-invasive cardiovascular management for an established, high-touch patient panel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide longitudinal primary care and comprehensive Internal Medicine (preventive care, chronic disease management, acute illness, medication optimization, wellness planning)


• Deliver advanced non-invasive cardiovascular care (preventive cardiology, hypertension, lipid management, CAD, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular disease, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter/Event monitoring, nuclear cardiology preferred)


• Maintain continuity across office, hospital transitions, specialists, and family/caregiver coordination


• Serve as the patient's trusted primary physician—not just a cardiovascular specialist


• Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families in a white-glove concierge environment


• Participate in rotating on-call coverage and provide attending physician services for hospitalized patients as appropriate

Required Qualifications

• MD with current ABIM Board Certification in both Internal Medicine AND Cardiovascular Disease (or equivalent)


• 7+ years post-training clinical practice experience


• Substantial experience in comprehensive Internal Medicine in addition to Cardiovascular Medicine


• Non-invasive cardiology practice experience


• Active/unrestricted Florida medical licensure (or eligibility and willingness to obtain)


• EMR proficiency; outstanding communication skills and bedside manner


• Commitment to concierge medicine and long-term patient relationships


• Willingness to become a Medicare Opt-Out Physician as part of the concierge membership model


• Desire to establish long-term professional roots in Sarasota, Florida

Preferred Qualifications

• Residency and cardiovascular fellowship training at a highly regarded academic medical center


• Experience with executive/concierge populations and preventive cardiology


• Hospital privileges and/or substantial inpatient care coordination experience


• Leadership, mentoring, or faculty appointment experience


• Strong professional references and evidence of clinical excellence (awards, peer recognition, research/teaching)
