Job Summary:


Compu-Link is searching for a Due & Payables Specialist with experience in a Mortgage Servicing or Default Firm setting is preferred. The Due & Payable Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely processing of dispositioning loans that have gone into a default status. This is a full-time non-exempt (hourly) on-site position located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Job Duties:



  • This role involves coordinating with borrowers, legal teams, and internal departments to resolve accounts efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

  • Ensure weekly completion of due and past due tasks.

  • Provide regular training to Due & Payable staff members.

  • Provide weekly status updates to leadership.

  • Ensure inspections are reviewed daily in accordance with policy and procedure outlined.

  • Manage mortgage accounts that have reached a due and payable status, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and company policies.

  • This role involves coordinating with borrowers, legal teams, and internal departments to resolve accounts efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent is required

  • Some college is preferred.

  • 2+ years of specialized experience in default preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in compliance review preferred.

  • Exceptional problem solving & critical thinking ability.

  • Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication

  • Competent in organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization.

  • Positive attitude and professional image

  • Impeccable punctuality and attendance

  • This position is an onsite role in Tulsa, OK. where the work will be performed.

  • It requires the mandatory successful completion of a detailed federal background check to include criminal background check, credit check, and fingerprinting.

WORKING CONDITIONS


The position’s work shifts are between 7am – 7pm Monday through Friday.


Work is performed in a professional office environment with no unusual hazards. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to move about inside the office, detect, inspect, identify, observe, operate in a typical office setting with low-to-moderate noise. This role is onsite in Tulsa, OK where the work will be performed in a secure Federal Government location.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
