Early Childhood Teacher

We're hiring an Early Childhood Teacher to work with Preschool and Before & After School students! Help create hands-on, play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in young children. Collaborate with our supportive team and guide young children every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum
  


• Provide a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for children ages 3 - 4 years in part time PreK, and 5-9 years old in School Age before & after care.


• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children


• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  


• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health/safety standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a licensed child care center is required.


• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.


• Candidates with a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential may also be considered.


• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.


• Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and sitting on the floor.


• Must possess the agility to move promptly from a seated to a standing position to respond to emergencies.


• Capable of participating in activities such as dancing, walking, diapering, and cleaning, both indoors and outdoors, in all four seasons.


• Must have acceptable hearing and visual capabilities to adequately supervise children by sight and sound.
