We're looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented e-Commerce Jewelry Specialist to join our team. If you have an eye for jewelry, enjoy online selling and photography, and love discovering the value in unique pieces, this could be the opportunity for you.
Position Summary
The e-Commerce Jewelry Specialist is responsible for sorting, evaluating, photographing, and listing donated jewelry for online sale. This position identifies valuable costume and fine jewelry, tests pieces containing gemstones or precious metals, creates attractive and accurate online listings, manages inventory, and works toward established production goals.
This role combines jewelry knowledge, e-Commerce, photography, writing, and attention to detail to help maximize the value of donated goods and support Goodwill's mission.
What You'll Do
Sort and evaluate donated jewelry to identify valuable costume and fine jewelry for online resale.
Properly test jewelry identified as containing gemstones and/or precious metals.
Photograph jewelry using an iPhone and web-based e-Commerce tools.
Create accurate and appealing product titles, descriptions, and photographs.
List and manage products on online selling platforms.
Maintain jewelry inventory and add or remove inventory as needed.
Meet established daily and weekly sorting and production goals.
Use data to support process improvements and decision-making.
Assist with packing, shipping, inventory, and other e-Commerce functions as needed.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of precious metals, gemstones, and/or valuable costume jewelry required.
Basic computer and typing skills.
Ability to use an iPhone for product photography and other job-related functions.
Strong spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and critical-thinking abilities.
Ability to work independently, maintain productivity, and meet production goals.
Flexibility and willingness to assist with changing business needs.
Previous experience selling online through platforms such as eBay, Amazon, or Marketplace preferred.
