Ecommerce Site Merchandising Supervisor

Your Impact

As the Ecommerce Site Merchandising Supervisor, you’ll help shape how customers discover, browse, and shop products on FleetFarm.com. You’ll lead the day-to-day site merchandising experience, ensuring categories, navigation, product pages, and promotional experiences are organized, relevant, and optimized to drive conversion.

You’ll lead and develop a team of Site Merchandisers while using customer behavior, site analytics, and testing insights to identify opportunities and continually improve the digital shopping experience. You’ll also partner across Ecommerce, Marketing, Buying/Merchandising, SEO, Content, A/B Testing, and IT to turn business priorities into a well-organized, high-performing digital shelf.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the day-to-day merchandising of FleetFarm.com, including category structure, taxonomy, navigation, and product organization.


• Ensure product assortments are organized in ways that reflect how customers search, browse, and shop.


• Partner with the Search owner to improve internal search performance and product findability.


• Establish and maintain best practices for Product Detail Pages (PDPs) and Product Listing Pages (PLPs), including product content, imagery, attributes, badging, cross-sell/upsell placement, and sort/ranking logic.


• Use site analytics, search query data, and customer behavior to identify opportunities to improve category structure, taxonomy, navigation, and findability.


• Partner with the A/B Testing Coordinator to identify opportunities, prioritize tests across PDPs, PLPs, search, and navigation, and turn successful results into lasting site improvements.


• Own the site merchandising calendar, ensuring category pages, landing pages, promotional placements, and seasonal resets are accurate, timely, and aligned with Marketing and Buying priorities.


• Build and maintain campaign and event landing pages and partner with Marketing on homepage content, promotional pages, and the event calendar.


• Monitor site and category-level KPIs, including conversion rate, click-through rate, search-to-purchase, and bounce rate, to identify opportunities and measure the impact of merchandising initiatives.


• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Site Merchandisers/Coordinators, including assigning workload and reviewing work for quality and consistency.


• Build your team’s expertise in taxonomy, PDP/PLP optimization, site merchandising, and testing practices.


• Serve as Fleet Farm’s site merchandising subject matter expert and represent ecommerce merchandising needs in cross-functional planning with IT, Marketing, and Buying/Merchandising. 

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Marketing, Ecommerce, or a related field.


• Demonstrated knowledge of ecommerce site merchandising, including category and taxonomy management and PDP/PLP content best practices.


• Understanding of retail ecommerce customer journeys and user experience best practices.


• Experience with ecommerce merchandising, search/navigation, or Product Information Management (PIM) platforms.


• Working knowledge of onsite A/B testing tools such as Optimizely, VWO, or similar platforms.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use customer behavior and site performance data to identify opportunities, measure results, and make decisions.


• Previous experience directly managing or leading a team preferred, with demonstrated ability to coach and develop others.


• Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives involving multiple cross-functional partners.


• Experience managing external service or technology vendors preferred.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.


• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
