Educator-SBH

Job Summary: The Educator-SBH teaches courses in School of Behavior Health. Performs other duties as needed. The hourly rate of pay will be determined commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Minimum $17.00/hr. Maximum $200.00/hr.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in related field required. Master's Degree or PhD preferred. Minimum one year of experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills: Evidence of expertise in subject content required. Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations. Able to effectively communicate changes and instructions in a professional, effective and positive manner. Professional use and competence in English in writing and speaking; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Able to communicate effectively on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.

Licensures and Certifications: License and/or Certification may be required depending on the program taught.
