Position Overview

We’re seeking an EH&S Specialist to serve as the primary on-site safety resource for our 3rd-shift associates and leadership. This role supports safety programs, training, incident prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary EH&S contact during 3rd shift
• Conduct safety/environmental audits and emergency response drills
• Deliver hands-on and classroom safety training
• Support incident and near-miss investigations and corrective actions
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and facility risk assessments
• Promote OSHA, company safety, environmental, and GMP compliance
• Support safety permits, work orders, PSM activities, and PPE requirements
• Partner with operations and employees to strengthen our safety culture

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of EHS/safety experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and required insurance
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
• Availability to work 3rd shift, including occasional weekends/alternative schedules

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field
• Safety-focused certification
• Spanish-speaking ability
• Experience conducting emergency or safety drills
