  • Conduct specialized safety training, deliver project-specific onboarding, and reinforce competency requirements.

  • Manage EHS Insights reporting accuracy, data quality, and performance metrics.

  • Conduct advanced air monitoring, sampling, equipment calibration, and industrial hygiene tasks.

  • Lead weekly project walkthroughs with project leadership and provide risk-based recommendations.

  • Oversee maintenance of certifications, medical screenings, and training tracking for assigned personnel.

  • Manage PPE needs, procurement, and inventory at the project level.

  • Participate in compliance assurance audits, corporate assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support development of safety policies, training materials, and best practices.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.

  • 5–10+ years of progressive safety experience in heavy civil, environmental, industrial, mining, oil & gas, or comparable high-risk environments.

  • Proven ability to lead field teams and influence safety culture.

  • Strong communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems.

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Competent Person training (excavations, scaffolding, fall protection, confined space)

  • EM385-1-1 coursework

  • BCSP certification strongly preferred (e.g., CHST, CSP)

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing or walking on project sites, climbing in and out of equipment, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
