EIS (San Bernardino Metro)

Young Interventions, Inc. is currently seeking a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Early Intervention Specialist (EIS) in San Bernardino County specifically in the city of San Bernardino Metro Areas (San Bernardino, Redlands, Yucaipa, Banning, Beaumont, Rialto, Highland, & surrounding areas. This position is available as a part-time or full-time opening in this area. Potential candidates should be available to work 20+ client hours per week, plus drive time between sessions.

This position will require home visits along the I-10 FWY Areas. These areas may include San Bernardino, Redlands, Yucaipa, Banning, Beaumont, Rialto, Highland, and surrounding areas. We do try to center your caseload around your preferred locations if possible. Most programming is in client homes, however, there may also be a need for virtual sessions when illness or special circumstances are present. Requirements for Early Intervention Specialists:

• Bachelor's Degree required (Child Development, Psychology, or related field)


• Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant / Toddler Child Development


• Minimum of 1-year experience working with children 0-5 years


• Experience working with Children with Special Needs is preferred


• Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin is desired

ALL Candidates MUST:

• Hold a valid Driver's License


• Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various home-based sites throughout the day (within 30 mile radius)


• Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration


• Maintain current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult)


• Have current TB

Compensation:

This position has an hourly rate between $20-$29 per hour which is determined based on applicant's level of education and experience.
