EKG Technician - PRN

·         Perform all departmental procedures within scope of care in timely manner assuring quality results.

·         Enter all charges and other information into the computer system.

·         Post reports on the patient’s charts. Maintain accurate, up to date patient charts and filing.

·         Prepare folders and reports for physicians to over read procedure.

·         Fax reports to the physician’s office in a timely manner.

·         Maintain and stock equipment including cleaning and sterilization procedures.

·         Maintain the department/office in a neat and presentable manner.

·         Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.

·         Respond to all Code Blue and Rapid Response.

·         Maintain and order adequate supplies for uninterrupted service.

·         Assist with orientation of new employees.

·         Participates in unit and hospital wide Patient Quality Improvement Activities.

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         EKG experience preferred.
