What You'll Do
Design and develop electrical systems for premium watersports boats.
Create innovative solutions that improve performance, reliability, manufacturability, and customer experience.
Design and release production-ready components using SolidWorks.
Develop electrical systems including wiring harnesses, power distribution, lighting, pumps, sensors, actuators, and electronic controls.
Work closely with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and suppliers to bring new products from concept through production.
Build, test, and validate prototypes while supporting on-water product testing.
Troubleshoot production and field issues while implementing long-term engineering solutions.
Ensure compliance with ABYC, USCG, and other applicable marine standards.
Continuously improve existing products through engineering analysis and customer feedback.
What We're Looking For - Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and engineering documentation.
Working knowledge of 12V/24V DC electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Self-motivated with a passion for designing exceptional products.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the marine, automotive, powersports, RV, or heavy equipment industries.
Knowledge of CAN Bus, multiplex systems, embedded electronics, or marine electrical standards.
Experience with prototype development, product validation, and testing.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink or similar experience a plus
