Electrical Engineer

General Duties

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for air curtain products
  


• Conduct research to determine design requirements and feasibility
  


• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics for electrical systems and components
  


• Collaborate with other engineers and designers to integrate electrical systems into overall product design
  


• Select and source electrical components based on product requirements, cost effectiveness, reliability, and efficiency
  


• Test and evaluate electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  


• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems related to electrical systems and components
  


• Conduct electrical simulations, calculations, and modeling to recommend design modifications to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability
  


• Monitor and maintain electrical systems during the manufacturing and production process
  


• Stay up\-to\-date with new technology and trends in the field of electrical engineering
  


• Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and other internal teams
  


• Work in ERP system to build and maintain bill of materials (BOMs)
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field as a minimum
  


• 3\-5+ years proven experience of a similar role required
  


• PCB experience is a plus
  


• Experience building and maintaining BOMs is a plus
  


• Must have strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and products
  


• Proficient in computer\-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant software programs
  


• Experience in electrical simulations, testing, and prototyping
  


• Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills
  


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  


• Attention to detail and accuracy
  


• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines is a plus
